Some projects only become visible when the building rises above the fence. The RENTEN project on Derech HaShalom in Tel Aviv is being documented long before that moment: our cameras have been on-site since the very first earthworks, in early 2025.
Shikun & Binui Real Estate is building a long-term rental complex here — 164 apartments alongside commercial space — as part of Israel’s “Dira Lehaskir” national rental housing program. The site sits inside the historic Ta’as compound, an area going through one of the most significant urban transformations in Tel Aviv.
Why start filming before there is a building?
In multi-year projects, the starting point matters as much as the finish line. Whoever arrives at the site after the floors are up can no longer see what the ground looked like on day one. That’s why documentation began during excavation and shoring: the movement of heavy equipment, the retaining works, the pit deepening — then the foundations and the first frame elements. As the project develops, we reposition the camera so the story keeps its best angle.
What the developer gets
A continuously updated visual record of the entire process — progress monitoring for the team, a clear picture for stakeholders, and marketing material that will accompany the leasing campaign when the towers are ready. One camera system, working around the clock, produces all three.
