The CAT 777: an engineering event in itself
For Zoko, Caterpillar’s representative in Israel, TimelapseIT documented the assembly of a Caterpillar 777 — a giant off-highway mining truck that arrives on site in parts. The viewer first sees separate components. Then the chassis takes shape; systems, wheels and the operator cabin connect; and finally the machine stands complete and ready for work.
The transition is mesmerizing. It highlights the difference between raw industrial parts and a living working machine — and it turns a technical procedure into a story anyone can follow, no engineering background required.
Time-lapse plus AI
The production combined fixed time-lapse photography with AI-assisted editing: image stabilization, detail enhancement and frame selection that keeps only the strongest moments. The result is a short, sharp film that serves Zoko in presentations, trade events and social media — proof of capability that no brochure can match.
